Redefining how music gets made — a complete production crew of humans and 30+ AI agents, from songwriting to final master. Tools that amplify human artistry alongside original AI artists and bands across 15+ genres, with on-demand song, music, and film/TV score production.
Business profile
Value proposition. One connected music company for the moment AI changed how music is made: a released catalog across more than ten acts and more than fifteen genres, a label that produces, releases and distributes on terms written to return more of each play to the artist, two licensing catalogs that serve a venue or a business at either end of a budget, and a listening platform where all of it is heard. Artists keep their own space and their own audience relationship, and the artist catalog pays royalties directly to the people who made the music.
Problem. The music industry is in transition: the tools have changed, the business models are changing and the audience is changing, and most responses address a single link in the chain. Artists face rising production-quality expectations with falling budgets, and distribution terms that keep most of what a play earns; venues and small businesses need music they are safely licensed for and cannot carry what a collecting society charges them for it; and music made with AI faces unresolved questions of rights, provenance and disclosure that neither generators nor platforms are answering in public.
Competitive advantage. The catalog and the platform already exist and are public, so the proposition can be heard rather than described. The roster is composed as a portfolio rather than a pile: each act carries a declared strategic role and the roles are chosen not to compete, with coverage mapped across six world regions. The two-tier catalog lets a venue or a business be served at either end of a budget, and the artist catalog does it while paying the people who made the music directly, without a collecting society between them. Media production for third parties is not stretched for: it belongs to CEMI Media, and MaiMusic supplies the music. And the editorial position on AI in music is published, not private: disclose AI involvement, register works, do not use unlicensed training data, do not clone voices.
Community value. MaiMusic exists so that any artist, whatever their language, geography or budget, can record, release and reach an audience at the quality the largest players enjoy — and keep more of what each play earns. The artist catalog pays royalties directly to creators. Every act keeps its own space and its own relationship with its audience, with no intermediary owning it. A venue that plays this catalog pays the people who made the music rather than a tariff. The roster draws on living traditions across six world regions and is built so that no heritage is used without credit. Alongside the catalog, the site publishes free educational material on AI in music: a learning program, an AI readiness assessment, a tool directory, a glossary, case studies and an explicit ethical position.
